Can I get Waves Ministry to host a conference at my church?

Absolutely! We will plan or help you plan in conjunction with our ministry a conference at YOUR church! Simply email Waves Ministry at [email protected] to inquire. 

What age do you have to be to attend the girls conference? 

Our target is for girls that are tweens, teens, + college age. If you are a girl + feel that you need a place to dive deeper, then this is for you!  Many of the issues that girls face in the college age stage unfortunately start earlier + earlier in life. Our desire is to tackle issues like body image, depression, suicide, addiction, promiscuity, + such early on so that they are not swept into those currents with out their knowledge.  If you think your student is not ready for this, then please have them wait to come!

Do volunteers, staff, or parents coming with a group or student need to buy a ticket?

Yes, but we do have scholarships if you need them. We do have to cover the cost of our events. If you are volunteering with the Waves Ministry, then you will receive a Waves Team shirt.

How much do tickets cost?

Starting March 1 we will give away 100 free tickets, then after those are gone the tickets will go on sale for $30. On May 14th, tickets go up to $45. The tickets cover the conference experience, as well as lunch on Saturday + gift bags. Scholarships are available upon request.

Where is the conference on the Emerald Coast?

Since Waves Ministry loves including all churches in the community, we rotate locations from year to year. For 2024, our conference will be at Trinity United Methodist in Fort Walton Beach, FL.

Is housing provided?

No. Some groups have connections with beach condos/houses and desire to use those.  It is also a liability on Waves to house the girls, + it would make the cost more if we provided housing.   

What do I need to bring to registration?

Bring your email confirmation to registration, + you will receive a wristband for the weekend at the check in table.  If you lose your wristband it will be a $5 replacement fee.
